In this guide, I will provide you with some tips to ensure your success as you go through the WECARE x PHI Partnering to Improve Care training in the Learning Portal. These tips cover some of the most common questions for this training. If you have additional questions, be sure to email [email protected] for help. 

 

 

Change your password

 

You will receive your username and temporary password in your email.  Once you login with the temporary password, go to your My Profile and change your password.  Be sure to keep your password safe.

 

   

 

 

Go to My Courses

 

You will always find your WECARE Partnering to Improve Care training on your My Courses page. The WECARE Orientation must be complete to unlock the Partnering to Improve Care training. If you attend LIVE you, you will receive credit and can directly to the training course.  If you did not attend the live orientation you will need to watch the recording. After you've viewed the recorded orientation, the training course will open for you.

 

 

 

Mark Each Section Complete

 

Sections of the training are listed on the left. You will not be able to move forward until you've confirmed you have completed each section. Look for a blue banner with the name of the next section at the bottom of each screen. Click anywhere in this banner to move to the next section. Once you've marked it complete, it will turn green and you can move on. 

 

 

 

Complete All Required Activities in the Training

 

You will find a blue Continue button within the training content. This button will help you navigate from lesson to lesson.

 

However, if you do not see the blue button, and instead see a lock that says Complete the content above before moving on, this means you need to access all parts of the content. This could include flipping over all cards, clicking all buttons or sliding through all screens. 

 

 

 

Use the Hidden Training Menus

 

You can use hamburger menu in the upper left corner of the training window which is open by default, to hide the left pane to have more room on your screen.

 

In addition, This training has a main menu that is hidden by default behind a hamburger menu in the upper left corner of the training content.  If you need to review a previous lesson, click the menu button to jump back to any lesson you've already seen.

 

 

 

Unlock the Learning Lab

 

You will not be able to register for a learning lab until you complete the Partnering to Improve Care training. For your training to be marked complete, you will need to submit all Knowledge Checks (pre and post), complete the training content and also complete the Training Effectiveness Survey.  After completing the survey, make sure you mark it complete.

 

 

Download your Certificate of Completion

 

Your Certificate of Completion will be available for download on the training home page.  You will see a link to download the certificate. You will receive a certificate for both the Partnering to Improve Care training and the Learning Lab. You will need to attend the Learning Lab and be marked "present" in order to receive your certificate. It will be available when the learning lab session is over.
